| Established in early 1950s as a trading house in the name of Ibrahim Saeed & Brothers in Omdurman. It was located in the heart of the trading center of Omdurman. The scope of the work was huge range of commodities which included textiles, food stuffs, readymade clothes & garments and fancy items. In the mid of 1970s the work diversified. New companies were added to deal with building materials, water pumps and cereals.
Early 80s witnessed the beginning of the factories like Saeed Food Factories and Al Baraka Biscuit Factories as well as the Plastic & Packaging Factories joined later. More than 1200 employees are the work force in the group at the moment with the continuous training & building up the resources for better productivity and manufacturing processes. |
